11. Blackminster students pave the way
During the spring of 2006, the Badsey Society worked with eight 12-year-old students from Blackminster Middle School on local history. Using the Wilson family as a case study, they visited the churchyard and Badsey Manor House, used the enclosure documents, and other materials that the Badsey Society has made available online.
The Badsey Society Enclosure Map Project was a major village history project running from 2005 to 2007 led by Maureen Spinks. This series of pictures show how the project was run and some of its outcomes. The Society is grateful for a grant received from the Local Heritage Initiative.
