20. 200th birthday party

The final public meeting of the project was presented as a "Birthday Party to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the first comprehensive map of the parishes". It was held on 10 March 2007 at Badsey School and included the cutting of a special cake.

Here is a report on this final meeting.

The Badsey Society Enclosure Map Project was a major village history project running from 2005 to 2007 led by Maureen Spinks. This series of pictures show how the project was run and some of its outcomes. The Society is grateful for a grant received from the Local Heritage Initiative.
