This alphabetical name index covers most of the records included on this website. Here is a list of the records currently available.
The index has more than 26,000 entries. These are arranged (1) by surname, with spelling variations grouped together, (2) by first forename or initial, with variations grouped together, (3) date of record. The index has been used to compile a list of the top 200 surnames in Badsey. We apologise that the files for some of these pages have now become rather large (e.g. B (385K), H (504K), S (377K)).
No living person should appear in this index. Please let us know if you notice the name of anyone who is still alive and appears in the index.
