The Stanford and Crisp family of Badsey

There have been Stanford and Crisp families living in Badsey since the 19th century. When John Stanford Crisp of Sands Lane, Badsey, died on 3rd June 2008, aged 80, a large number of documents relating to the family were found in the house. John never married and had no children. Johnís neighbour, Valerie Magan, has put together this history of the family, assisted by Pat Goldstraw, David Caswell, Michael Barnard, Don Hartwell, Terry Sparrow, Terry Sinclair, Rachel Smith (Saunders Roberts), Edna Jelfs and Maureen Spinks, as well as contributions from the Badsey Website.
